Rebecca Ruth Candies – Home of the Original Bourbon Ball

Next, enjoy a guided visit to Rebecca Ruth Candies, the birthplace of the famous Bourbon Ball.

You’ll learn the story behind this iconic Kentucky treat and have time to explore the shop and pick up some sweets to take home.

Lunch on the Kentucky River at Staxx BBQ

After your morning experiences, you’ll relax with a Staxx BBQ lunch at the floating riverside dock along the Kentucky River.

This laid-back stop is a great opportunity to:

Along the way, master storytellers share how the river shaped the bourbon industry — from early flatboats transporting whiskey to long voyages downriver to ports like New Orleans.

A full cocktail bar is available on board for those who wish to enjoy a drink while cruising.

Buffalo Trace Distillery Tour & Tasting

Your final stop is the world-famous Buffalo Trace Distillery, one of Kentucky’s most historic and celebrated bourbon distilleries.

Here you’ll:

    Food and beverages are available for purchase on the river cruise. Outside food and non-alcoholic beverages are permitted.

    Please note: outside alcohol is not permitted.

    • This tour is not available for children under 12 years old.

    • A minimum of four guests total is required for the tour to operate.

    • If the minimum is not met, you will be notified within 48 hours and offered a refund or alternative arrangements.

  • During the Buffalo Trace tour, guests will need to:

    • Climb multiple flights of stairs

    • Walk on grated floors

    Closed-toe shoes are required.
